How to Engage

It was important to ensure that community views helped shape future plans for Ladyfield.

Engagement with the local community and key stakeholders was critically important to the success of delivering a strategy that is ambitious and exciting. For the masterplan to be truly sustainable and beneficial it was vital that everyone in Ladyfield – and the surrounding areas – was given the opportunity to be involved in discussions and the design journey in some way.

Our strategy for engagement utilised a series of workshops and community events, hosted at The Crichton Trust and provided opportunities to listen, co-design and present ideas in a collaborative and open environment.

This ensured that local knowledge and experience was embedded into the creation of a distinct exemplar masterplan that will enhance conditions within The Crichton Quarter for living, working, studying and recreation.

The Project Team would like to thank everyone who engaged in the events and public/stakeholder engagement process.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
